Deep, dark colour verging on the black. A revealing bouquet often characterised by blackcurrant, liquorice, plum, fig and cedar with a touch of cocoa. Power and elegance on palate with good concentration and plenty of firm tannins, strong yet distinguished, permitting a very long ageing.
