Wachenheimer Riesling "R" 2019, 75 cl

Dr. Bürklin-Wolf's barrel reserve is here! The Wachenheim village wine reserve now bears the distinctive "R" on its label. The grapes come exclusively from Wachenheim Premier Cru vineyards such as Altenburg, Böhlig, Goldbächel, and Gerümpel. Fermentation in large double casks and extended lees aging significantly shape the wine, elevating it a whole level above the standard village wine: greater depth and complexity, more texture, and more exciting aromas. A spicy nose with a delicate yeasty note, offering aromas of sage, ripe pear, and yellow melon. Crystal-clear fruit flavors of pineapple, quince, and mint fill the palate. A powerful body, creamy texture with many subtle nuances, minerality, and juicy freshness linger on the finish!
