Tarlant La Lutétienne Rosé Brut Nature 2005, 75 cl

The limited-edition vintage rosé champagne from the traditional and talented house of Tarlant perfectly combines the elegance and finesse of a handcrafted champagne. La Lutetienne is a blend of 75% Chardonnay and 25% Pinot Noir from the villages of Celles-lès-Condé and Œuilly, Vallée de la Marne. Fermentation in oak barrels and exceptionally long lees aging (over 16 years) give this rosé Brut Nature an enormous range of aromas and a silky smoothness. On the nose, it unfolds a complex bouquet of red berries, delicate brioche, floral notes, and a hint of citrus. The long-lasting mousse feels soft and creamy on the palate. The fruit notes continue, complemented by a light minerality and subtle hints of brioche. A wonderful accompaniment to charcuterie and oriental dishes.
