Strathmill Single Malt Scotch Whiskey, 15 years 2009, 75 cl

This single malt whisky comes from the Strathmill Distillery in Moray, Speyside, and matured for 15 years in a second-fill Oloroso sherry cask. Bottled at cask strength by independent bottler Keith Bonnington for The Whisky Cellar's Private Cellar Selection, this whisky is non-chill filtered and has no artificial coloring. The bouquet is enticing with spicy notes of gingerbread, sweet red apples, a hint of milk chocolate, and toasted oak. On the palate, these aromas continue, creating a wonderfully smooth mouthfeel with subtle sherry influences.
