Sió negre 2022, 150 cl

Concepció, or Sió for short, was the grandmother of the current generation at Bodega Ribas. She handed the estate over to her daughters in the 1980s and steadfastly supported them in the transition to producing their own wines. This wine is a tribute to her – and therefore no coincidence that it displays such character. The nose offers dark fruit, sandalwood, cinnamon, coconut, and a delicate floral note. On the palate, it's refreshingly crisp, with noticeable grip, powerful, and with a distinct Mediterranean character. The perfect companion for grilled food: its spiciness practically begs for grilled meat and vegetables!
