A Caribbean-French liaison. Despite the distillery's French name, this rum is 100% Jamaican. A meticulous selection of distillates from the Caribbean island matures for two years in American white oak barrels that previously held bourbon. Jamaica's high humidity and tropical warmth ensure ripe, highly concentrated aromas. The batches then travel across the ocean to France, where they are blended by Cognac master Jérôme Tessendier. The result is aged for a further 24 months in French oak barrels on the banks of the Charente River. This specialty seduces with aromas of fresh banana and yellow fruits, combined with a touch of wood. On the palate, it is smooth and full-bodied with exotic fruit. No added sugar.
