Firm, substantial, and full-bodied, it fills the palate. The juicy acidity and a noticeable mineral-bitter component give the wine wonderful dynamism. Its taste reflects the aromas perceived on the nose: grapefruit, kumquat, mandarin, and gooseberry with a bouquet of spicy garden herbs. Räuschling is a very old grape variety native to the Lake Zurich region.
