What we love about it: It was crafted with a light touch of expertise. The fruit is crisp, the acidity fresh, the oak aging subtle; it's ripe and full-bodied, yet not at all heavy. On the nose, cherry, plum, and pomegranate, delicate toasty notes, and warm spices. On the palate, it displays tremendous vibrancy, wonderful fruit sweetness, and fine-grained tannins. It practically sings on the palate! And: This exceptional wine is a stunning food companion. It pairs just as well with spicy chicken or beef as it does with Middle Eastern dips, complements olives and tomatoes, and even chocolate.
