Ribas blanc 2024, 75 cl

This lively white wine is a true Mallorcan. Why? It's made from the local Prensal grape variety. It also contains a secret ingredient: a small amount of Giró Ros. This almost extinct grape was revived in 1995 and gives the wine its structure. It smells of fresh pear and white blossoms, with a hint of honey. On the palate, it's wonderfully fresh and herbaceous. The acidity tickles the corners of your mouth. It's wonderful with young vegetables and summer salads, tarts, flans, and quiches – and, as a Mallorcan, of course, with fish.
