This Retrokirsch is a tribute to the late farmer Johann Baptist Etter (1800-1872), who distilled his own cherries as a side business on his farm "Bergl" in the Zug municipality of Menzingen, thus laying the foundation for the success story of the Etter distillery. Precious treasures still reside in Etter's cellars, and this Retrokirsch was created from these mature cherries with considerable expertise and passion. The result is a characterful, complex, intense, and highly aromatic cherry brandy.
