This Primitivo, produced entirely without oak aging, presents itself with captivating and profound fruit reminiscent of blackberry jam, cassis jelly, dried dates, and figs. A subtle, sweet spiciness is underscored by notes of rose paprika, cinnamon, and clove. The intense fruitiness is also dominant on the palate and lingers through to the finish, without ever becoming sweet or cloying, thanks to the balanced acidity and gentle tannins.
