La grande classe! Grown on one of Burgundy's finest terroirs. Clos de la Commaraine is a monopole vineyard in the heart of Pommard, a significant terroir whose history dates back to the Middle Ages. This vineyard yielded only 20 barrels in the exceptional 2019 vintage. On the nose, this Premier Cru shines with aromas of wild berries, ripe raspberries, orange peel, and fine wood. On the palate, it is complex and full-bodied with juicy acidity and velvety tannins. The use of oak is exceptionally skillful, revealing exciting nuances and character.
