Pommard 1er Cru Clos de la Commaraine Monopol 2018, 150 cl

The 2018 Pommard 1er Cru Clos de la Commaraine Monopole is the first vintage from this new winery. Grown on one of Burgundy's finest terroirs, a total of 20 barrels were produced: 10 new and 10 used. The wine offers a multitude of aromas in the glass. This Pinot Noir is particularly striking, displaying intense fragrances of wild berries and raspberries, mingled with hints of orange peel, smoked wood, and toasted oak. On the palate, it is powerfully bodyed, full-bodied, fleshy, and enveloping, with juicy acidity and velvety tannins. The finish is rich with flavor and invites another sip.
