Pingus 2020, 75 cl

The flagship wine from Danish star oenologist Peter Sisseck, a legend with a production of just under 7,000 bottles annually. Founded in 1995 in Ribera del Duero, this garage wine quickly transformed into Spain's most sought-after and expensive cult wine. Dominio de Pingus comprises only 4 hectares of vines, cultivated biodynamically. After harvesting the fully ripe grapes from old vines, they are fermented in large wooden casks and stainless steel tanks, then aged in French barriques – surprisingly, there are no new oak barrels in the cellar. Extremely concentrated yet astonishingly elegant – a combination only Peter Sisseck can achieve.
