Nicolás Catena Zapata's unparalleled work brought Argentine wine worldwide acclaim. In 2009, he became the first South American to be awarded the prestigious title of "Decanter Man of the Year." His vineyards are located in Mendoza, near Luján de Cuyo, a spectacular geographical area at an altitude of over 1,000 meters above sea level, nestled at the foot of the imposing Andes Mountains. His great Malbecs and Cabernet Sauvignons all possess tremendous aging potential.
