The bouquet reveals aromas of ripe raspberries and currants paired with a hint of clove, cinnamon, and Szechuan pepper. Floral notes of rose and apple blossom are also perceptible. The tannins are only faintly present, making it easy to drink without being overly sweet. As on the nose, the palate is characterized by flavors of raspberries, sour cherries, and citrus fruits.
