Maund (Jamaica) Rum 12 years

This "Maund Rum" is characterized by the rich aromas typical of Jamaican rum. Scents of raisins, wood, roasted notes, and a hint of caramel entice the nose. On the palate, it is balanced and fruity. Very spicy with a peppery note, freshly roasted coffee, a touch of tobacco, and dried fruit, it surprises with an elegant and smooth finish, which it owes to its aging in select wine casks in the "Wild Alps." About the brand: Sir John Oakley Maund was an English mountaineer who gained fame through several first ascents in the Mont Blanc massif. Sir Maund commissioned William Morris to build stately hunting lodges for him on Lake Lucerne and in the Arlberg region. Villa Maund, a unique place in Vorarlberg shrouded in myth, has always been visited by many famous personalities and is considered the birthplace of The Wild Alps creations.
