Mannochmore Single Malt Scotch Whiskey, 14 years 2008, 75 cl

Mannochmore lies on the more delicate side of the Speyside flavor wheel. The whisky was regularly checked during its 18-month maturation in sherry casks, a fact that is particularly evident in this 14-year-old. The whisky has a coppery hue, with aromas of wild berries, orange peel, and ripe figs. On the palate, it presents notes of black wine gum, marmalade, dates, and Jamaican gingerbread spice. The finish consists of grape and nut chocolate, toffee apples, nutmeg, and cinnamon cubes.
