Nestled among the rolling hills of Fuissé, Marcel Couturier crafts characterful Chardonnays that impressively reflect the terroir of the Mâconnais. This elegant Burgundy comes from vines over 15 years old, thriving on clay and schist soils and cultivated organically. The nose is inviting, with delicate notes of yellow quince, apricot, sweet honeysuckle, and a hint of refined smoke. On the palate, it impresses with a perfect balance of citrus fruit, freshness, minerality, oak, and body. It pairs wonderfully with poultry in cream sauce, pan-fried pike-perch, morel risotto, or mild hard cheeses such as Comté or Gruyère.
