Luis Cuvée Red

"Cuvée Luis, because it doesn't always have to be Lagrein from South Tyrol!" The Vernatsch grape gives the Merlot in this cuvée just the right touch. The aromas of black cherries, plums, cinnamon, cloves, and pine are typical of Merlot. The Vernatsch contributes a bright mint note and a fresh, lively acidity. This successful cuvée is easy-drinking and lightly buoyant, with subtle oak aging and moderate tannins – ideal with simpler, but also heartier dishes, or simply with roasted chestnuts in autumn. As an IGT-classified wine, the vintage does not have to be stated on the label; however, this is a pure 2019 vintage.
