Luis Cuvée Red 2022, 75 cl

It doesn't always have to be Lagrein from South Tyrol ❯ The Vernatsch gives the Merlot in this cuvée just the right touch. The wine is named after Luis, the great-uncle and brother of Jakob Nicolussi-Leck's grandfather, who is passionately involved in the family business. ❯ Typical aromas of black cherries, plums, and spices meet bright mint and fresh acidity. The cuvée is wonderfully easy to drink and impresses with subtle oak aging and moderate tannins. ❯ Perfect with a snack platter, but also goes wonderfully with hearty dishes – or in autumn, simply with roasted chestnuts.
