This blend of Roussanne, Marsanne, and Viognier grapes originates from the three communes of Ampuis, Condrieu, and Roussillon, grown on diverse soil formations including biotite granite, glacial moraine, and ancient alluvial deposits of the Rhône. The Grand Blanc unfolds a spectrum of aromas reminiscent of ripe Mirabelle plums, almond marzipan croissants, vanilla, and pear-apple compote. It coats the palate with a silky-creamy texture, offering a warming, mouth-filling sensation and exhibiting similar aromatics to its fragrance. We recommend decanting the wine or opening it a few hours before serving.
