This world-class Mencía grows at 730 meters above sea level on the "Gran Vinya Classificada," a Burgundian Grand Cru vineyard, "Las Lamas." On this mere 1.48 hectares, Mencía, Alicante Bouschet, and a few white grape varieties (approximately 10%) are cultivated. The wine captivates with its elegant, understated, almost "cool" character, marked by spicy and mineral aromas. It lingers seductively on the palate. Precision, complexity, and finesse, along with exceptional aging potential, characterize this wine. Decanting before serving is recommended when young.
