The grapes come from the best vineyards around Heiligenstein, and are approximately 20 years old. Its character is less fruity and more defined by spice, reminiscent of herbs like basil, thyme, and lemongrass with a touch of bergamot and Williams pear. On the palate, the typical peppery note is accompanied by refreshing acidity and a delicate hint of pear and kiwi. Simply amazing what this "simple" wine can do!
