This historic and wonderfully mature Riesling Auslese from Karthäuserhof exudes aromas of fully ripened exotic fruits, mint, and honeycomb. A hint of elegant botrytis lingers. On the palate, the yellow fruit exotics reappear, reminiscent of juicy, fully ripened pineapple and Spanish oranges, accompanied by Mediterranean herbs. This Auslese is characterized by its generous richness, vibrant acidity, and excellent balance between sweetness and acidity. The exceptionally long finish makes it an outstanding wine that shines on its own but also harmonizes beautifully with spicy Asian dishes. However, its best partner is fruity desserts!
