The "New World" at its finest. "Z" is the affectionate name for this cuvée, alluding to the fresh Zephyr breeze that cools the sea-facing vineyards. Ideal conditions for the classic Bordeaux varieties from which this South African red is crafted. It is an expressive wine with rich red fruit, very well-balanced on the palate with a round, powerful, velvety tannin structure. The high Merlot content gives it its charm, the Cabernets contribute spicy pepperoni notes, and an elegant interplay of acidity defines the palate. We recommend decanting it!
