Echézeaux 2018, 75 cl

Domaine Eugénie is owned by the same group as Château Latour and originated from the former Domaine René Engel. The Echezeaux, located in the small Combe d'Orveaux south of Musigny, is exceptionally impressive and masculine. After some aeration, the nose reveals a range of berry fruits such as blackcurrant, raspberry, and sour cherry, underpinned by mineral and earthy notes. On the palate, just enough oak influence is noticeable; the tannins are present yet velvety. Approachable even in its youth, this wine will certainly benefit from a decade of aging.
