Dézaley Clos des Moines, Gamme historique 2023, 75 cl

The city of Lausanne is the proud owner of this steep, slightly elevated vineyard. The wine is sold annually at a public auction. Clos des Moines is spectacularly situated on the steep slopes of the Dézaley appellation in Lavaux. This appellation (along with Calamin) is one of only two in Lavaux to be designated "Grand Cru." This Chasselas has aromas of linden blossom, a hint of pineapple, and flint. On the palate, it is complex, aromatic, creamy, and has a fine, mineral, lingering finish.
