Cuvée 1844 Grüner Veltliner 2020, 75 cl

Anyone who thinks only Austria can produce Grüner Veltliner is mistaken! This Thurgau wine exudes a herbaceous and spicy nose reminiscent of meadow herbs, basil, and green chili peppers. Fresh notes of Granny Smith apple and fine vanilla complement the aroma. On the palate, the herbal impression continues with a touch of pepper. Notes of citrus and fennel blossom also emerge. The opening is soft, and the palate-watering and refreshing acidity offers an exceptionally enjoyable drinking experience. Decant this white wine – it gains in complexity – and serve it with classic Wiener Schnitzel, Caesar salad, or cured salmon.
