Cuvée 1844 Chenin Blanc 2020, 75 cl
CHF26.00
The Chenin Blanc grape is undoubtedly one of the most versatile and underrated white wine varieties in the world. Originally from the Loire Valley in France, it has found a new home in the sunny Thurgau region, where it produces outstanding white wines. This single-varietal Chenin Blanc offers a complex nose: hawthorn and orange blossom, star fruit, apple peel, cut grass, haystacks, and wet stone. It caresses the palate harmoniously, almost creamily, yet with an exciting grip, presenting itself as full-bodied, vibrant, and juicy! An exciting interplay of fruity-sweet aromas unfolds, including lemongrass, nectarine, candied ginger, and dried apricot. Enjoy it with trout meunière, spicy finger food, or green asparagus.
