Creutz Sylvaner 2022, 75 cl
CHF189.00
A harmonious blend of remarkable Franconian craftsmanship and 140-year-old, ungrafted Sylvaner vines. These old Sylvaner vines thrive on the southernmost part of the Sonnenberg vineyard, in the "Creutz" section, producing incredibly small yet highly concentrated berries. From these grapes emerges a rare white wine, stylistically reminiscent of a white Hermitage. The nose is spicy, smoky, and even slightly floral. On the palate, ripe, yellow-fruited aromas unfold, along with a powerful body, superb structure, and fine limestone minerality derived from the shell limestone soil. Remarkable, multifaceted length.
