Within the protected dry-stone walls of the Clos des Corbassières vineyard, this Hermitage grape is crafted from very old Marsanne Blanche vines. This Valais white wine boasts an elegant bouquet of white truffles, pears, honeycomb, pine needles, and sweet almonds. On the palate, it is full-bodied, creamy, and minerally. It is smooth and inviting with an intriguing bitterness and a long, aromatic finish. In a blind tasting, it could easily be mistaken for a great Burgundy! Serve this wine in large glasses, not too cold.
