Clan Colla Single Malt Irish Whiskey 19 Y 2001, 70 cl

An extremely limited Irish single malt from the Ahascragh Distillery's Family Bond Series. Distilled in 2001, it matured for 19 years in first-fill American white oak bourbon casks before being finished in Spanish Oloroso sherry casks from Jerez. A captivating aroma reminiscent of toasted malt with a hint of citrus. On the palate, creamy, smooth caramel, dried fruit, nuttiness, vanilla, and chocolate orange unfold. The finish is long and refined, revealing its full-bodied flavors in the finale.
