Cidre Engishofer 2023, 75 cl

Pure character. The Engishofer apple – full of juicy acidity and tannins – comes from over 80-year-old, unsprayed, high-stem trees in Stehrenberg (Thurgau). Spontaneously fermented and pressed using the ancestral method – completely without additives or sulfur. On the nose, ripe apple and delicate yeasty notes – reminiscent of Tarte Tatin. On the palate, juicy, pleasantly dry with a beautiful balance between acidity and fruit sweetness. A cider with depth – ideal with spicy dishes, strong cheeses, game, or simply when you want more than "just sparkling apple wine".
