Bohnapfel Cider 2023, 75 cl

A vibrant cider with character. A classic cider apple, reimagined: The Grosse Rheinische Bohnapfel apple from the organic Bleichehof farm in Wolfhalden (Appenzell Ausserrhoden) is spontaneously fermented – entirely without additives or sulfur. Voilà: a wonderfully vibrant cider is born. The nose offers delicate yeasty notes, clear apple aromas, and a hint of wildness. On the palate, it's juicy, finely sparkling, dry, and with subtle acidity. A cider that not only refreshes but also makes you want another sip. Pairs well with strong cheese, fried fish, tarte flambée – or, well chilled, simply on its own.
