La Communion is the latest project from Thomas Hervé, owner of Château Moulin Haut-Laroque in Fronsac. The nose is dominated by red berries and hints of mint, which lend the wine a certain freshness. On the palate, this single-varietal Merlot is aromatic, dense, and smooth with silky tannins and is wonderfully balanced.
