Awarded 95 points by Decanter! A Chianti made from 100% Sangiovese, as typical as it gets. The spicy aromas are dominant: gingerbread spice and Szechuan pepper, malt and leather, chocolate and mint alongside dates, figs, and a hint of English rose. It doesn't flatter the palate, but challenges it with juicy acidity, pronounced yet refined tannins, and a spicy flavor.
