In Southern Styria, Chardonnay is called "Morillon"! A delightful aroma of ripe, freshly peeled Golden Delicious apples, followed by delicate floral notes. Complex, intense fruit flavors on the palate, ripe yet light-bodied thanks to the firm acidity. The cool climate and slate soil of its origin are reflected in a pronounced minerality, which lends the wine an additional dimension.
