Chardonnay 2024, 75 cl

This textbook Chardonnay from Fläsch is crafted by the Adank family in the Chablis tradition. The grapes from the Burgundian vines are harvested early to impart a certain freshness to this wine. The grape variety is immediately apparent on the nose! A complex bouquet unfolds aromas of delicate vanilla, ripe Boskoop apple and pear, and subtle roasted hazelnut notes. On the palate, this Chardonnay shines with a rich aromatic profile of ripe, yellow stone fruits and sweet-tart lime. The toasty notes (from lightly toasted French pièce) and the juicy acidity are beautifully integrated. The long finish reveals itself as mineral and powerful. A very well-balanced and exciting Chardonnay from the Bündner Herrschaft region.
