Domaine de Julien Brocard, the estate of the "7 Lieux," unites seven wines that come exclusively from its own vineyards. "La Boissonneuse" is one of them and benefits from the special Kimmeridge terroir, which lends it its finesse and minerality. A soil profile consisting of clay and limestone, rich in fossils, results in a very aromatically intense and complex Chablis like this one. A densely woven Chardonnay, its aromas evoke stone fruit, mint, Granny Smith apple, citrus peel, and hints of oriental spices. On the palate, it presents itself as complex yet precise with a mineral freshness.
