In the glass, the Mouton-Rothschild presents itself in a deep, dark purple-red, almost black, surprising with a complex nose carried by a full aroma of blackberries and currants. These fruity notes are joined by hints of smoke and fine, fresh precious woods. On the palate, despite its youth, it displays considerable tannins, promising excellent aging potential. Liqueur-like notes of mocha and vanilla, along with a strong Cabernet Sauvignon character, round out the palate profile. The finish is very long and fruity, with freshness and a pleasant oak note at the end. Overall, very elegant and full-bodied.
