It's the little brother of Amarone: For Ripasso, young red wine is fermented a second time together with Amarone pomace. The result is a velvety yet fresh wine with stunning fruit sweetness and plenty of spice. A touch of "Amarone" for every day. It seduces with plum, Amarena cherry, cocoa, Mediterranean herbs, and clove. On the palate, it's full-bodied and dense with velvety tannins. Incredibly smooth. Perfect with barbecue steak or spicy meat skewers. Also excellent with grilled mushrooms.
