Angels watch over it: This exceptional wine is only produced in the best years from the oldest vineyard of the Tuscan winery La Gerla. Some of the vines grow just below the winery next to an old chapel dedicated to the angels – “gli angeli.” What can we say? The small winery is situated at an altitude of 320 meters directly on the hill of Montalcino and has become one of the region's most renowned producers in just a few years.
