Birba 2021, 75 cl

Affectionately known as "Brunellino," Birba is aged in barriques for approximately 12 months, unlike Brunello, which matures in large vats ("botte") for at least two years. It delights with its robust structure, fine tannins, and complex aromas: rose, prune, cherry, spices and herbs, as well as notes of chocolate, licorice, and tar. Birba can easily be cellared for up to 10 years after harvest and is a delightful wine to enjoy on its own.
