The Barolo Mauro Molino, from three historic vineyards – two in La Morra, one in Monforte d'Alba – manages to unlock the stubborn Nebbiolo grape, revealing its captivating aroma and soft fruit. Ripe strawberry, rose and autumn leaves, tobacco, earth, herbs, and delicately spicy wood. Delicate and fragrant, with fine-grained tannins and juicy acidity. It pairs perfectly with anything containing truffles – generously shaved over pasta or risotto – and equally delicious with a Sunday roast. Tip: Let it breathe for half a day.
