Aultmore Single Malt Scotch Whiskey, 9 years 2011, 75 cl

Founded in 1896 in Speyside, the Aultmore distillery is renowned for producing a robust, rich, and fragrant whisky. These rather heavy malts are perfectly suited to Oloroso sherry maturation, which is why this 9-year maturation took place entirely in a first-fill cask. This influence is immediately apparent on the nose, presenting strong aromas of roasted coffee, raisins, and bourbon biscuits. Wonderfully balanced on the palate, with flavors of dark chocolate, cinnamon, and coconut flakes, this Aultmore finishes with a spicy-sweet aftertaste.
