Makes an impression: 3 BAR is a joint venture between the Weingut zum Talheim winery in Schaffhausen, the Adank family from the Bündner Herrschaft region, and Baur au Lac Vins. Three traditional wineries, one lively and uncomplicated red. It smells of ripe strawberry, blackcurrant, milk chocolate, and vanilla. On the palate, it's soft and full-bodied with freshness and spice. Lightly oaked. Perfect with a ham and cheese platter by the fireplace. Or with mushroom dishes—Pinot Noir pairs beautifully with them.
